KATHMANDU: Ambassador of Pakistan to Nepal H.E. Abrar H. Hashmi handed over a cheque to support the paperless digitization of Bharatpur Eye Hospital (BEH). Ambassador of Pakistan to Nepal H.E. Abrar H. Hashmi visited Lumbini and Bharatpur on 30 Nov – 02 Dec 2025.
At Lumbini, he paid respects at the Birthplace of Lord Bhudha. He held meetings with the Lumbini Development Board and the officiating Mayor of Lumbini.
The meetings were focused on fostering heritage linkages, cultural and civic relations between Pakistan and Nepal. At Bharatpur, the Ambassador handed over a cheque to support the paperless digitization of Bharatpur Eye Hospital (BEH) as a gift from the People of Pakistan.
The support aims to assist BEH to upgrade its infrastructure and efficiency through Electronic Health Record (EHR) system, and fully digitize administrative and clinical processes.
